Stylist Charlotte James, who has done work for the likes of Vice, Dazed and Crack Magazine, teamed up with photographer Ash Kingston who shoots for many major fashion magazines such as Wonderland, Clash and Dazed. I was able to spend the day assisting the shoot which gave me some interesting insights. It was very relaxed while Niall, the model, was having his hair done. He was chatting away talking about how he enjoys travelling around and the opportunities modelling has given him. He's taking a break from studying fine art at London College of Art; when faced with more modelling jobs at uni he asked his teacher what to do, she said he should embrace the opportunity and take a year or two out.

Charlotte took us to our first location, while heading out the flat Ash liked the look of the tiles and hall way so Ash stopped and took a few pictures there first. Here Niall wears our archive 80s Vivienne Westwood Time Machine polka dot jeans. Often shooting in black and white, Ash said he actually really liked the texture and colour in this image. Ending up at the first location just down the street on Streatham High St. Ash shot the photo on the left in a greasy spoon cafe. Here Niall wears our archive 90s Moschino Ying Yang jumper. I love how the polka dots on the jeans matched with the jumper. We headed back to the flat to change and Ash took this photo below, using just natural light from the window. We headed out to a couple more locations and took a few more shots back at the house and they were done in just a few hours. Let us know below in the coments what you think of the photos, the full set is linked below.
